4. The Horseshoe Crab

First of all, they’re not even crabs. Secondly, these exasperating little suckers are perhaps the biggest show-offs of any species on the planet. These skuzzy, scuttling fossils have been around for 400 million years and just wont die. All they do is mosey about on the ocean floor and somehow effortlessly survive several mass extinctions. It’s like they were swimming around one day and were like “lets survive forever just in spite of everyone.” Go extinct already you stupid horseshoe crabs and stop making the rest of us look bad! The least you could do is pretend you’re putting some effort into it.
